The St. Laurent (also known as the Saint Laurent or the Sankt Laurent) grows on the hills of the Gaisberg. The St. Laurent is planted on the lower part, where the bottom is covered with a layer of loess. A very nutritious top layer that makes the soil ideal for agriculture.
The St. Laurent combines very well with fine (wild) meat dishes, red meats, venison back, wild duck, etc. It can also go well with matured cheeses.
