The use of saffron is not limited to traditional recipes such as paella, but it is also a wonderful and versatile ingredient in modern cuisine. Perhaps the most complicated is the dosage (there is always "a pinch"), to overcome this problem the product is packaged in sachets containing exactly 1 pinch (100mg).
It is recommended to dilute (infuse) the saffron thread in the stock or hot water for a few minutes before adding it to the pot. This is to obtain the full potential of color, taste and aroma. To make the most of the color and flavor of saffron, it is recommended to infuse the threads for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
