Porto Lágrima, a beautiful rich, sweet, white port. There are only a few producers who carry this Lágrima port. The name literally means tear, which comes from the fact that this port leaves drops, or tears, on the inside of the glass. That makes it tears of happiness.
It is also a delicious sweet white port, with a rich aroma. The taste clearly shows some of the years of aging, further dried fruit, and floral aromas. Perfect as an aperitif, but also good to combine with all kinds of goodies such as, matured cheeses, chocolate and sweet pastries.
