His Dudeness, or The Dude, was 'born' after seeing the Coen brothers' cult film The Big Lebowski. In the film, protagonist 'The Dude' Lebowski chugged one White Russian after another. Until then, the cocktail (made of vodka, coffee liqueur and cream or milk) was usually labelled as an old-fashioned and boring drink, but at the end of the 1980s, thanks to the film, the White Russian experienced a true revival and cocktails were hard to come by. The Brouwdok's 'White Russian' became a Russian Imperial Milk Stout. A powerful, but 'easy going' beer for everyone who wants to feel like El Duderino.
